This iconic 1969 Fiat 500F was purchased in 2014 for a full restoration. First all rusted out panels were removed. Then new floor panels, inside beams, and inside fenders were welded in to give the remains of the body enough strength for the proceeding restoration process.

Then the car went into an oven at 400 degrees Celsius to remove all paint, rust protection and kit. After sand blasting the car was painted with a zinc phosphate primer.

After these preparations, the welding works were done. Next to the floor panels, the inner beams, and the inner fenders, the outer beams, all four wing panels, the bulkhead, the front panel, and the bonnet are new.

Next the whole car was painted with epoxy primer, whilst the bottom got an InnoTec spray rubber coating prior to painting. The car is painted in Fiat 1968 original mint green Lesonal paint.

The 650 CC engine and gearbox are overhauled, a new electrical system has been installed, and all other parts are new.

An iconic head turner.
