This very nice Mercedes W114 250CE coupe, built in 1971, was purchased by us in 2015. Originally the car was sold in the south of France, near Bordeaux. The most important issue with the car was the badly damaged paint because of the sun in France.

As a driving project, we removed the original paint to bare metal, and welded in two new beams. The car was repainted with epoxy primer, a filler primer and the original Standox metallic silver with clearcoat.

In 2016 a new interior was fitted. For this car we used the original Pullman corduroy that was used by the Mercedes factory back in 1971.

In 2017 a new cylinder head was installed on the six cylinder in line engine, and an LPG installation was fitted.

In 2019 the undercarriage completely has been overhauled.
